Club Urunga

2009 to 2012

The Urunga Bowling Club suffered devastating damage during the March 2009 floods.  Jeffress Associates was engaged from the very beginning to assist the club in assessing the damages, negotiating with the insurance company, and ultimately coordinating the design, construction and fit-out of a completely new facility for its members, which has now been re-named Club Urunga.  The new club was located on one of the existing bowling greens so that the club could continue to operate during the construction.  At the end of the project, the old facility was demolished and a new bowling green constructed.

In addition, Jeffress Associates has performed project management for several past renovations at this club totaling more than $2.4 million of investment between 1996 and 2007.

Southwest Rocks Country Club

Jeffress Associates performed client project management of the design and construction of this new club facility.  This project involved majour design and construction works for the combining of the South West Rocks Golf Club with Bowling and Sports Club providing for one centralised and up-to-date facility for the whole community.

North Beach Recreation Club

North Beach Recreation and Bowling Club upgraded their existing facilities with a major renovation and addition to their club house.  Jeffress Associates performed a project appraisal and was selected to perform contract management for the design and construction of the project.

Pacific Bay Resort

Coffs Harbour, 1988 to 1992

$60 million investment

Jeffress Associates performed contract management and administration during the construction of the Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour.  The Resort includes hotel rooms, 3 swimming pools, a 9-hole golf course, a conference centre & restaurant complex, tennis courts and extensive grounds.
